Thousands have gathered in Paris to congratulate France's national football team as they began their bus parade towards Champs-Elysees as it is revealed the team will be given the Legion of Honour by the state - after they won a second World Cup.
The victorious footballers landed at Charles de Gaulle Airport earlier today and are now making their way down streets of the capital in a bus towards the triumphant parade.

Sweden has advanced to the World Cup quarterfinals for the first time since 1994 with a 1-0 win over Switzerland.The Swedes took the lead in the 66th minute at St. Petersburg when Emil Forsberg’s right-foot shot deflected off defender Manuel Akanji and past the wrong-footed Yann Sommer.
Forsberg also cleared a corner off his own line to preserve Sweden’s lead in the 80th minute.
