Schoolgirl critical after tree falls on her

A six-year-old Tobago school girl is clinging to life after a tree fell on her yesterday morning.

Up late yesterday, Zikiha Lorde was said to be in a critical condition at hospital.

According to reports, around 8 am yesterday Lorde was standing outside her Black Rock home getting ready to go to school when a branch from a nearby fell on her. A group of men were reportedly cutting the tree in front of her home at the time.

15-year-old schoolgirl missing

Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating 15-year-old Angela Ramjattan.

Angela, a ward of the Christ Child Convalescent Home, Diego Martin, and a pupil of the Diego Martin North Secondary School, was last seen at the school, around 2:45 pm, on Thursday 7th September, 2017.

She was reported missing to the West End Police Station, around 5 pm, on that same day, by Brenda De Souza, an employee of the home.

15-year-old San Fernando schoolgirl missing

Police are seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating 15-year-old Shinayah McDonald.

Shinayah, a pupil of Union Claxton Bay High School, was last seen leaving her home at Union Hall, San Fernando, around 4:15pm on Monday 3rd April, 2017.

She was reported missing to San Fernando CID, by her father, Marlon Smith, on that same day.

Shinayah is of African descent, 5 feet tall, medium built, has a brown complexion and short black hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue and green top and a short tie-dyed skirt.

15-year-old St Helena schoolgirl missing

Police are seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating 15-year-old Kalia Lilly Cozier.

Kalia, a pupil of Bon Air West High School, was last seen leaving her Gandhi Street, St. Helena home, at around 2:30pm on Wednesday 15th March, 2017.

She was reported missing to the Las Lomas Police Station by her mother, Allana Williams, on the same day.

Kalia is of African descent, 5 feet tall, medium built and dark brown in complexion.

She has brown eyes, an afro hairstyle and was last seen wearing a white and blue flowered dress.

16-year-old schoolgirl missing

Police are seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating 16-year-old San Juan Secondary School student, Nikite Taylor.

Taylor was reported missing to the San Juan Police Station on Tuesday 7th February, by her mother, Isha Taylor.

She was last seen at her home, located at #103 Laventille Road, Sou Sou Lands, San Juan, by her mother at around 1:00 am. on Monday 6th February, 2017.

Nikite is of African Descent, 5 feet 1 inch tall, dark brown complexion, slim built with an afro kinky braided hairstyle.

Video: Female student tussles with male police officers and the reason is more cause for concern

A video of a female school student tussling with two police officers is being circulated extensively on social media and the reason for the tussle is even more alarming.

The conflict, according to eyewitnesses, stemmed from the police's attempt to ensure the safety of the student.

The identity of the student cannot be shared since she is legally a minor.

According to reports, police officers were on patrol in Port-of-Spain when they observed the student in the company of a man outside a clothing store.

Body of 17-year-old schoolgirl found in San Raphael

The body of a 17-year-old teenage girl dressed in school uniform has been discovered in San Raphael.

Police say the girl's arms were bound. 

Police have identified the body but are retaining the information until her parents have been notified.

17-year-old-schoolgirl missing

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating a 17-year-old schoolgirl, who was reported missing by a relative.

A statement by the Police Service says Symiya Morris of Agostini Street, St Joseph, was reported missing to the St Joseph Police Station at around 7pm on Sunday 7th August, 2016, by her mother, Keisha Morris.

Symiya was last seen leaving home to attend church at Daybreak Assembly, Coconut Drive, Movant at around 10am yesterday.

She is a pupil of Barataria North Secondary School.

15-year-old Tobago schoolgirl missing

Police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl.

Police say Shemika Phillip of Ten Chains, Roxborough, Tobago, was reported missing to the Roxborough Police Station, around 1 am today.

Phillip is a Form Two student of the Harmon School of SDA and was last seen leaving home to attend class around 8 am yesterday.

She is of African descent, 5 feet 6 inches in height, of medium built and was last seen wearing a grey and red sweat pants and a white jersey.
