Two teenagers are expected to appear before the Port of Spain Children’s Court today, charged with the murder of Keenan Smith, which occurred on Wednesday 2nd January, 2019.
The two male minors were charged with murder on Thursday 10th January, 2019, by Sgt. Sydney Job, of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region 2, following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC, on that same date.
Smith, 23, of Curepe, was stabbed about the body with a knife at a house in the district around 9:30 pm, on Wednesday 2nd January, 2019, after getting into an altercation with two other persons.
He died at the scene.
The accused were arrested by officers of the St. Joseph Police Station, shortly after in connection with the incident.
