Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley leaves for St Kitts and Nevis today where he will attend a Caricom meeting.
According to a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister, on the agenda are discussions on the Caricom Single Market and Economy which was the focus of a special meeting of heads in this country last December.
Heads of government will also examine recommendations from a special meeting of the Caricom council for trade and economic development on transportation.
Minister of Foreign and Caricom Affairs, Dennis Moses will accompany Dr Rowley on the trip.
Finance Minister Colm Imbert will act as prime minister until Dr Rowley's return on Thursday.
